Lead singer Marko Perković is known for his Nazi sympathies. The band is forbidden in several countries. In 2003, Amsterdam banned a Thompson concert.

After the second song, Perković turned to the audience with a nationalist speech: “Prize Jesus and Mary, my dear people. (…) With this concert we show unity. Europe has to return to its tradition and Christian roots. Only in this way does Croatia get strong again.” He also called for respect for the “heroes created our homeland.”

According to Perković, visitors came not only from Croatia, but from all over Europe.

The police called the show the most demanding police task ever in Croatia. 6500 agents, almost 5000 security guards and 70 firefighters were deployed.
