Pee against a fatbike, a letterbox, a bench or the Tilburg water tower. Normally, Wild Plassers risk a fine of 170 euros, but in the coming days they can go separately at the station in Tilburg. There is a Wild -Plaspark especially for the Tilburg fair. “No bullshit, just piss.”
Those who walk out of the station look crazy about the wild puddles who are peeing against signs in the form of an ice horn, Fatbike and the statue of a jug. “It is a playful action to draw attention to wild peeing,” says designer Pim Bens laughing.
Wildersplassen causes a lot of nuisance in the center of Tilburg during festivals, but also during the fair. “Yet everyone does it sometimes, while they know that it causes nuisance. Thanks to this park, people start a conversation with each other about wild peeing,” Bens thinks.
On the fences around the park it says in large letters: “No bullshit, just piss.” Unlike in real life, the pee rays in the Wild -Plaspark do not run over the sidewalk, but the puddle is neatly collected in reservoirs. But anyone who thinks he is well hidden in the park between a letterbox and a bench is wrong.
“Wild peeing is also uncomfortable and crazy.”
Travelers who run out of the station just see the wild pee. The travelers who are waiting for the train on top of the platform can also view the park. “Wild peeing in public is also just uncomfortable and crazy. That is therefore the case here,” says Bens.
According to him, it should make people realize that they should do their needs somewhere else. Although the problem is not alone with the wild pee. “There are several reasons why people wild peeing. For the most part it might be convenience, but it can also be due to the lack of the right facilities from the municipality or event organizer,” he says.

For example, there are no fewer than 35 urinals at the Tilburg fair, while women can only go to twelve toilets. In addition, women had to pay one euro for the toilets, where it was free for men.
That was what the Dolle Mina’s Plas discrimination Tilburg thought and that is why they tied large pink bows as a protest last weekend for the urinals in the city. The municipality agreed with the ladies and decided to make the toilets for women for free.
“I’m afraid it will be a dirty gang.”
The Wild -Plaspark at the station is an extra place in the coming fair days to do your needs, although not many women are coming. “The park is very small, so I’m afraid it will be a dirty gang,” a woman responds laughing.
“I would also feel very viewed, so I will go between the cars or in an alley in the event of a high need,” she says. The men, on the other hand, are a lot more enthusiastic about the park. “If I have drunk a lot, I can urinate all that lemonade here,” a man jokes.
The Wild -Plaspark will be at the fair in the coming days, but will also have a place at Cape Town Festival in Tilburg in a few weeks. The festival wants to draw attention to the nuisance caused by wild puddles and came up with the idea for the Wild -Plaspark.
