Winnipeg Jets and Kyle Connor have signed a long follow -up agreement, says insider journalist Darren Dreger in X.
According to Dreger, the contract is 8-year-old and is worth $ 12 million each year.
The total value of the contract is therefore a whopping $ 96 million.
28-year-old Connor has played his entire NHL career in the Jets. Last season, he contracted a full 82 matches and hit his record score of 41+56 = 97.
In the playoffs, Connor continued his fierce mood by doing 5+12 in 13 matches. He was also selected for the US 4 Nations in February.
The Jets starts their season between Thursday and Friday with a home match against the Dallas Stars.
