The fire brigade responded in the middle of the night to help someone who had ended up in a dire situation at a residential care location in the Kloosterveen district in Assen. In the building, shortly after four this morning, someone was stuck behind a radiator with a leg, according to a fire brigade spokesperson. It is not known how this could happen.

An ambulance was initially called in, but the caregivers eventually needed help from the fire brigade. He entered the care location with several firefighters and the necessary tools.

According to the fire brigade spokesperson, the victim was able to be freed from the awkward position. As far as we know, he did not have to go to the hospital.
