The fire broke out in house 139 on the Fontanka river embankment. At this address there is a historical building – Sorokin’s apartment house built in 1896-1897.
“The apartment is burning on an area of 38 sq. m, as well as in the ceilings between the third and fourth floors on an area of 32 sq. m “, – said in the message of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
By 14:41 the fire was contained.
