The first round of the World Cup for clubs was still excellent for the European teams that met clubs from other continents, but that is now different. Chelsea initially played a solid first half, in which it took the lead within fifteen minutes via Pedro Neto.

In the second half, however, it was Flamengo that prevailed. Once The Blues Earlier, an equalizer had escaped, it fell after just more than an hour of playing. It was the Bruno Pinto who came in just before that that took the position in balance. His change was really worth gold, because a few minutes later he gave the assist on the 2-1 of defender Danilo.

To make matters worse for Chelsea, shortly thereafter it also had to go with 10 men after a strong violation by Nicolas Jackson. The striker did not seem to be in control of his frustration of the past six minutes and continued full on the tibia of his opponent, where the ball never really seemed like his intention.

Chelsea was powerless in the sequel and Flamengo benefited in the last ten minutes, when another substitute struck. The Wallace Yan, who was brought into the lines a minute earlier, happily got the ball at his feet and then hit the delight of the numerous Brazilian fans present.
