According to the Public Prosecution Service (OM), a 26-year-old man from Assen has stalked three women from Bovensmilde and Assen. In a rough way he hoeed the women and sent them threats, the public prosecutor said. She demanded a 365 -day prison sentence against the man, of which 166 days are conditional.

In 2019, a woman stepped out of Bovensmilde to the police. She was harassed by the Assenaar. The agents imposed him on to stop with that, but the man continued with that. For the same reason, two other women from Assen also went to the police.

Their stalker went far, he also bothered them through friends, family and their work. The man was arrested in France last year in June. He was back to the Netherlands from Morocco.

He would also have sent threats from prison in France. According to the OM, he also sent untruths. The suspect wanted one of the women to believe that his daughter was in intensive care. The father, however, saw his daughter sitting next to him.

The threats often also came in via foreign numbers. The man denies being behind this. In addition, the man was also on trial for causing or provoking an explosion at a home of a victim.

Last year at the beginning of May, a lot of heavy fireworks exploded in the front garden of one of the complains in Assen. This turned out to be a Cobra 6. The woman got a threatening film from the suspect three minutes after the explosion, about an explosion at her home.

The man denies being behind the explosion. He was in Morocco at the time. He also tensed no one for the cart to do this. Everything points towards him, the public prosecutor said, but there is no hard evidence. She asked the man to be released on this part.

The suspect has been walking around freely since December. The prosecutor considered having the man returned to prison. She thinks it is more important that the man is treated. Experts found a personality disorder with him.

As a result, the rapidly hurt man does not oversee the consequences of his actions and can solve complex problems himself. The public prosecutor demanded, among other things, an outpatient treatment, supervised living and a contact and location ban with the victims.

The ruling will follow in two weeks.
