About sixty locations in Gees are open this weekend for the annual event Gees in Winter Atmosphere. More than 100 participants will show their work: from winter decorations and handmade jewelry to ceramics, paintings, candles, bags and lamps.
Visitors can enjoy old crafts and demonstrations such as basket weaving and woodworking. Animals such as sheep, donkeys and piglets also provide extra atmosphere in the village.
There will also be plenty of fun with coffee, mulled wine, food stands and the Village Café, where there will also be live music this year. The organization again expects thousands of visitors for a warm and atmospheric weekend in Gees.
Our photographer Kim Stellingwerf was there and took winter pictures!
