In one fell swoop from only 1 to 39 percent: Flanders becomes the largest shareholder of Brussels Airport

Flanders will be the largest shareholder of Brussels Airport, the National Airport in Zaventem. Flemish Prime Minister Matthias Diependaele (N-VA) announces this in an interview with VTM News. The Flemish Government buys shares from a Canadian pension fund and thus becomes 39 percent shareholder. Cost: 2.77 billion euros.
