Presnensky court arrested a Moscow investigator and businessman in a bribery case

The investigator of the Moscow department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was suspected of taking a bribe. Together with him, they arrested Leonid Venzhik, an entrepreneur and co-owner of the Perlovy and Co company for two months.

In Moscow, an investigator of the Moscow department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Magomed Tagirov and co-owner of the Perlovy and Co company Leonid Venzhik were arrested in a bribery case, the Presnensky Court press service told RBC.

Tagirov is accused of accepting a bribe (part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code), Venzhik is accused of mediation in bribery (part 4, article 291.1 of the Criminal Code). They were detained until 23 February.

RBC sent a request to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow.

TASS clarifies that Tagirov is an investigator of the 11th department of the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moscow, which specializes in investigating economic crimes and crimes in the banking sector. He was in charge of the case of the former general director of OJSC Tushinsky Machine-Building Plant, who in 2018 was found guilty of causing damage to the enterprise in the amount of 870 million rubles.
