In Kazan, three people died from poisoning with an unidentified substance, reported on the website of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Tatarstan.
The bodies of two men and a woman were found in an apartment in one of the houses on Simonov Street. The wife of one of the victims was also taken to the hospital with signs of ethyl alcohol poisoning. Doctors assessed her condition as consistently serious, reported TASS in the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.
Near Saratov, four people were poisoned to death by an unknown substance
According to the UK, the deceased spouses celebrated their wedding anniversary and invited a familiar married couple to visit. During the celebration, they added a narcotic substance to the purchased alcohol, due to the use of which, presumably, they died.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code (causing death by negligence). The maximum penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to four years.
