In half of the municipalities, no social rental home was added this year: ‘They would rather not do those people’

In most Dutch municipalities there was no social rental home in the first half year. Even in large cities such as The Hague and Utrecht little to nothing came about. There are also municipalities that do not want such new construction anyway, sounds from the sector because of fear of an influx of social weak and status holders.
