In Canada, truckers are on strike, and the police persuade them

In Canada, the third week of protests has begun. Truckers demand the abolition of anti-COVID rules and want vaccination to become voluntary in the country. Previously, truck drivers completely blocked the Ambassador Bridge over the Detroit River. And this is the busiest land crossing between Canada and the United States.

The demonstrators blocked the passage, people lined up in a chain of solidarity. The police pushed the protesters back, but they blocked the traffic again. Negotiators are working with them now. Armored vehicles and special forces soldiers are on duty in the area, helicopters are raised into the sky.

Broken cars, tear gas and dozens of detainees – this is how the action of opponents of coronavirus restrictions ended in Paris. In total, the unsanctioned demonstration gathered more than seven thousand people. Despite the peaceful name of the manifestation – “Convoy of Freedom” – the protesters behaved aggressively and refused to obey law enforcement agencies.
