In Bess Gog’s kantabar: the performance was interrupted, the man did his homework

The singer talks about her experience related to impostor syndrome in Gogi’s kanta bar.

Gogi Mavromichalis hosted by an actor on TV today Mimosa Willamoa and singer Bess, who has studied to become a professional musician. However, studies have not prevented the development of impostor syndrome. In the syndrome, a person does not believe in his own achievements and imagines that he has succeeded only by deceiving others – although in reality this is not the case.

Bessi’s insecurities have erupted, for example, at a jazz gig in Tampere, as she says only at midnight in the upcoming TV2 Gog’s kantabar. The singer asked herself what she was doing among hard jazz musicians and why she had been hired as a performer in the first place.

While on stage, Bess did not dare to sing to the audience, but performed in the direction of the band playing in the background.

– I gradually turned my back to the audience and tried to seek refuge in the band.

Bess continued to perform the wrong way for a while until the audience began to boo her.

– A big guy came from there to say that “hey, perform for us, not for them!”.

In addition to Bess, Gog’s guest is Mimosa Willamo, who also talks about impostor syndrome. Over

Bess got confused, and then got angry.

– I got furious inside. “Shit, don’t come and advise me,” he recalls thinking.

However, the artist’s mind changed quickly, and the injection of courage that followed the admission has carried him ever since.
