At Jumbo-Visma, the riders are over the moon after the show of power in the opening stage of Paris-Nice. Wout van Aert, Primoz Roglic and Christophe Laporte broke away from the pack together on the last climb of the day, after which the three of them crossed the line. Laporte was given the victory as a gift.
