Implant developed that allows some spinal cord injury patients to walk again

Scientists have reached a new milestone in their research to get spinal cord injury patients moving again. Thanks to improved electrical stimulation of the nerves in the spinal cord, they managed to walk, cycle and even swim in three patients with a complete spinal cord injury within a day.
