The world economy is expected to grow by 3 percent this year, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects in its new ‘World Economic Outlook’. The outlook is therefore slightly higher than in April, when the IMF assumed growth of 2.8 percent. For 2024, the forecast remains stable, at a growth of 3 percent.
