“You just have to buy non-alcoholic drinks in Estonia in addition to alcohol,” Iltalehti’s reader threatens. PDO

On the first day of April, the prices of soft drinks rose, as the change in the soft drink tax came into effect.

The prices of both sugary and sugar-free soft drinks increased, but the biggest increase is for sugary drinks.

Iltalehti found out Finns’ opinions about the tax change with a survey. More than 250 people answered the survey.

Several Finns, disgusted by the tax increase, replied that they no longer intend to buy sugary soft drinks in Finland. Instead, they plan to buy them from Estonia or Sweden in the future.

– Looks like we need to start bringing limpers from Estonia as well, answered the survey Ramp.

– In the future, I will not buy any of these overtaxed products from the store, but I will get a bigger batch from Sweden or Estonia at once, another reader threatens.

Doctor states in his answer that fortunately Sweden is next door.

– Fortunately, I live near the border. My purchases go to Sweden, another reader writes.
