A 26-year-old IJsselsteiner has been arrested because he took money from a house in the explosion flat in Bilthoven. The suspect was working there professionally.
When he was arrested, he had more than three hundred euros in his pocket. Residents of the complex on the Libra had to rush out of their homes on April 21 after a gas pipeline was hit during work. Three of the 28 homes were destroyed. Five firefighters and two officers were injured.
Housing association SSW confirms the incident ‘which happened a few weeks ago’, and says that the Public Prosecution Service is looking into the matter.
It was previously reported that it was an employee of a demolition company, but that turns out not to be true.
