Iggy Pop returns to Germany for five exclusive open-air concerts in the summer of 2025. Among them Hamburg (June 17th), Berlin (June 19), Halle an der Saale (June 21), Munich (June 24th) and Cologne (July 1st). The Berlin appointment falls in a special setting: Iggy Pop is part of the 20th anniversary of the Citadel Music Festival and will play in the Citadel Spandau on June 19-one of the most atmospheric open-air venues in the city with the Special Guest: The losers.
Hardly any artist has shaped rock music as sustainably as he was. Revolutionized the music landscape with his band The Stooges and as a solo artist. Albums such as the Stooges, Funhouse and Raw Power are considered milestones in rock history, while his solo albums such as Lust for Life and The Idiot achieved cult status. Iggy Pop does not stop with the Grammy for his life’s work and the Polar Music Prize. Most recently, in 2023 he published the studio album Every Loser – a return to his loud, wild roots.
In 2025, fans in Germany now have the opportunity to experience Iggy Pop Live-and thus an artist who has stood for energy, experimentation and creative independence since the early 1970s. His return marks another chapter in a career that lasts over 50 years, which is still characterized by relevance.
