Punk legend Iggy Pop has been advertising a company from the Bavarian Forest that manufactures fittings since 2021. The company is called Schock and its brand essence is to produce sustainable sinks made of quartz sand and recycled materials. In order to get this message out into the world, the Munich advertising agency “Saint Elmos” was hired, which produced a spot with Iggy Pop, which received a sequel last Thursday (March 9). In this second appearance by the American for the Bavarians, he presents their new range of colored sinks. There is information about Pop’s fee.

The crux of the minute-long clip, which shows him in a kitchen surrounded by animated animals (and is actually a pure retro LSD fever dream with its muted techno background sound), is the fact that the most interesting things at parties always happen in the kitchen. That’s why the kitchen should also look interesting – and for that you need colourful, sustainable sinks.

In addition to his trips to Munich production and a possible visit to the “Schock” kitchen studio, the 75-year-old has already released an album this year. The record “Every Loser” is the 20th studio album by the “Godfather of Punk” and was released on January 6th.
