Swiatek won already their 35th consecutive match. With its final win, Swiatek has won the most consecutive matches in women’s tennis this millennium.
Swiatek, who dominates the women’s tennis, lost the entire tournament in just one set match to China Qinwen Zheng against. Swiatek also won the French Open Women’s Doubles in 2020.
Swiatek rose to number one on the WTA list in early April when Ashleigh Barty announced the end of his career.
