Iga Swiatek has finally won her first title on lawn – and that in Wimbledon. Her final opponent Amanda Anisimova made it easy for her 6-0, 6-0.

From the beginning, Swiadek was the dominant player of the game, she determined the rallies at will – but actually she only had to wait for the American’s mistakes, who was noted that she had great problems by far her career.

Anisimova makes too many mistakes for a touch of tension

In the first set, Anisimova made 14 “unforced errors”, including three double errors – Swiadek only failed on two strokes. The extremely clear episode: The Polish won the first round 6-0, scored three times as many points as her opponent. The 24-year-old was only one sentence from the sixth Grand Slam triumph (four at the French Open and one at the US Open)-and there was no doubt that it would happen.

Especially since the second round started as the first had run into entirely. Swiadek breaks her opponent immediately, and even in the phase did not play so well and made mistakes himself – just less than Anisimova.

That is why it wasn’t quite as bad for the final debut, but the only difference was that Swiatek did not win her games as clearly. It even indicated the maximum penalty for Anisimova, which was unable to win even one game – or to get a chance of a game at all. And so SWIATEK ended an incredibly one -sided final after just 58 minutes and also won the last set 6-0.

Swiatek had never got a title on lawn

In Wimbledon, Swiatek, who was number 8, had never passed the quarter -finals in the five previous participations. Now she is the champion of the most important rasm tournament and the most prestigious event on the tennis tour. It was the perfect place to finish her misery on lawn – it was her first tournament victory on the topping.
