In the name of OmaVero, scam text messages have been sent, which can lead to the entry of criminals to the account and the loss of money.
In the text, a new message is waiting for the user in OmaVero. It is advised to read by clicking the link in the scam message.
According to the Cyber Security Center, the link directs personal information to the scam page. Clicking on the link or filling out the form shown below will not yet allow the cheater to sign in to the bank account. However, the form is just the beginning and the data collected in it can be misused in other ways.
– In this type of scams, the next step is often to fish for bank information. For example, fishing can take place through a follow -up form or targeted fishing, which uses the data in the form to increase the credibility of the scam, the Cyber Security Center warns.
If you think you have been scamming, please contact your bank immediately to minimize financial damage. Then report the crime to the police.
