With these tips, you will keep the ceramic frying pan in working order for years.

The life of the ceramic frying pan can be affected by the right handling itself. Fiskars Oy

A high quality frying pan will last for years as long as you use it properly. If you get a ceramic frying pan quickly in poor condition, you are likely to have misused the pan.

With these tips, you can keep the ceramic frying pan good longer.

1. Avoid heating the frying pan empty. When heating empty, the pan is easily overheated and the coating suffers.

2. Always add the first oil or butter to the pan.

3. Heat the frying pan over medium heat. This avoids overheating the pan.

4. Allow the frying pan to cool before washing. Putting a hot pan in cold water can damage the coating or twist the pan.

5. Avoid steel wool or abrasive cleaning agents while washing the pan.

6. Keep the pans in a tight boiler cabinet so that their surface is not damaged. If you store the pan on top of each other, put the padding like kitchen paper or kitchen towel between the pans.

7. Prefer wooden or plastic kitchen utensils. Avoid metal kitchen utensils as they scratch the surface of the ceramic pan.

8. The frying pan can be easily ruined, because machine washing significantly reduces the life of the pan. Although new ceramic frying pans may have a mention of the durability of machine washing, it is still not recommended.
