Also with hosts Sweden Should be expected: The team of coach Sam Hallam won the World Cup bronze in 2024, the home advantage could give further tailwind. At the Czech team Success coach Radim Rulík has remained on board, the defending champion is again a strong role this year. Also Finland is considered a favorite and the USA could with a team from many NHL-Profis ensure a surprise.

What opportunities can the German team calculate?

Due to the sensational World Cup final in the DEB selection 2023, expectations in Germany increased, but last year had already ended after the quarter-finals against Switzerland. The top four teams from the group move into the quarter-finals, which was also called out by ice hockey coach Harold Kreis as a minimum goal. The German team lost the dress rehearsal in the last test game before the World Cup on Sunday with 2: 5 (0: 1, 0: 2, 2: 2) against the USA, but still left a strong impression that gives courage for a successful World Cup.

The 23-year-old is with the Ottawa Senators In the first round of playoff, he left and would be available in terms of time.
