Where does the World championship instead of?
The host of the 2025 ice hockey World Cup are Sweden and Denmark. Group A games take place in the Avicii-Arena Stockholm, Group B plays in Jyske Bank boxing in Herning. Two quarter-final games are also played in each city. The semi -finals, the game for bronze and the final take place in Stockholm.
When does the 2025 ice hockey World Cup start?
The ice hockey World Cup will open on Friday, May 9, at 4:20 p.m. with the Austria game against Finland in Stockholm. A total of 16 teams have qualified for the ice hockey World Cup. The tournament participants are divided into two groups with eight teams each.

How does the game mode work?
The top four teams from groups A and B are moving into the quarter -finals, the teams out to fifth to seven. From the quarter-finals, KO mode continues. The losers from the two semi -finals play third place in another game and the bronze medal.
Who are the favorites?
