In Switzerland, an ice hockey game for Vili Saarijärvi did not end well. His fingertip was probably separated by a shot.

The Swiss ice hockey club SCL Tigers has to do without the Finnish defender Vili Saarijärvi for two to three weeks. The club announced this on the club website and wrote that the player had injured “by the hand”.

As the Swiss “Blick” reports, however, it is not an ordinary injury. Accordingly, the ice hockey professional in the game against SC Bern was separated part of the fingertip.

The physiotherapist of the Tigers is said to have apparently still looked around on the ice. However, the fingertip part was later found in the Saarijärvi glove. According to information from the “Blick”, the part of the fingertip in the cabin was sewn up again with a few stitches.

Tigers sports director Pascal Müller after the game: “Saarijärvi was hit by a shot on the hand.” The puck crashed so much against his finger that the accident occurred.
