Oilers down to 8th place
The Oilers lost 3-6 at the Los Angeles Kings and are just eighth in the Western Conference. Draisaitl didn’t have a goal or an assist. The game in Los Angeles ended in a brawl between Kings player Brendan Lemieux and his opposite number Klim Kostin.
Stützle lost with Ottawa
There was also little to celebrate for the other German NHL professionals in the NHL on Tuesday (01/10/2023). Tim Stützle lost 3-0 to the Nashville Predators with the Ottawa Senators, while John-Jason Peterka and the Buffalo Sabers lost 4-0 to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer was not used in the Seattle Kraken’s 4-0 win at the Montreal Canadiens.
