Ice club Eensgezindeling from Westervelde has received the silver medal of merit from the municipality of Noordenveld. The association is celebrating its centenary today.
Alderman Alex Wekema presented the silver medal to the board of the ice cream club this afternoon. The Municipal Executive determines which associations and institutions in the municipality are eligible because of their special merits.
Previously, Stichting Motorsport Noordenveld, IJsclub Roden and Gymnastics Association SVO from Roderesch received the silver medal.
