Ibeyi announce world tour – stream new single “Lavender & Roses” here

After the release of their new LP SPELL 31 in May, Ibeyi also want to go on a world tour. The French-Cuban duo from Paris announced today and released a music video for their third single “Lavender & Roses”, which is a feature with Jorja Smith.
In the video, Ibeyi and Jorja Smith can be seen as a threesome in the desert. Arriving at a fountain, they pour a carafe with lavender and rose petals into the fountain. At its bottom sits a masked man, whom the three of them pull out on a rope with their combined strength. Watch the video directed by Lucrecia Taormina stream here:
The singles “Sister 2 Sister” and “Made of Gold”, which is a collaboration with Pa Salieu, had previously been released from the new album. Slated for release on May 6th, SPELL 31 is the third album by the duo, which consists of twin sisters Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Díaz. The LP follows the previous album ASH, released in 2017.
Their world tour is scheduled to start in September and will also take Ibeyi to Germany, where they will play in Hamburg and Berlin in November.
