The judiciary responds worried about the statements of Anneleen van Bossuyt (N-VA). The Minister of Asylum and Migration does not intend to pay the penalty payments to which the government was convicted, because asylum seekers are not being taken care of. “Her statements are symptomatic of a disturbing evolution in which a member of the executive believes he can place himself above the law,” it sounds. Van Bossuyt, however, remains behind her position. “I would rather not spend my budget paying off the mess that I inherited from the Vivaldi government.”
