“We had met in what she calls ‘her thick period’. I would rather call it the time that she was still cozy. Yes, she was full -bodied, she had a soft belly and maybe a somewhat round ass, but there was nothing wrong with that. In fact, I thought it was sexy!
Great first vacation
Our first vacation together was great. We drove my camper to the Basque Country, where we went beyond tasty snacks. Every time it was a challenge to taste all PintXOS of a bar. And then with a nice glass of wine. After that vacation we both had become a kilo or three heavier, but we laughed about that. “Oh well, I already have a friend,” she said.
And then she was asked to participate in some walk for charity. She didn’t have that much with running, but if she could raise money with it, ok then. So the training started. It went better and better, she lost weight, she wanted longer, faster, more often. She felt fantastic. Not me; The more fanatic she sported and counted calories, the more I dropped out.
The shadow side of sports: ‘It was my therapy, but also my addiction’
Nothing no pain au chocolat
When we went to France with the camper, she was not busy picking culinary hotspots. No, she was looking for trails where she could run. And where she could buy protein shakes. Nothing breakfast with one pain au chocolat. “That’s 260 calories!” As if she wasn’t already a horror.
With her lunch or dinner was no longer a party. She was just counting. She got a menu, she first looked for her phone how many calories a dish would ‘cost’. I was annoyed.
The drop
The drop? I had been looking forward to a lunch at a great star tent for the entire vacation. Along the way she wanted to buy a bottle of water at a pumping station. When she got out, she said casually: “I don’t like that, you know. Do you do those 5 courses later, I only take a salad or something. ” I exploded. I pushed her out of the camper and drove away. I was so done with it!
I pushed her bells away. I was sitting there on my own in that restaurant and disappointing. Back at the campsite I got the wind from the front. “Where do you get the guts! Now I had to call a taxi! What do you think?!” Well, that this is the end of our relationship. That I thought. That evening I put her home on the train.
It was her house, that was painful again. I am ashamed of my blunt action, but otherwise I am happy that I am rid of her. She now eats leaves of lettuce with an old friend of mine. I wish him strength. ”
