“Belgium is a protected country. I know that the manner in which it is here is with you.” The American ambassador Bill White appeared in ‘De afspraak op vrijdag’, in the latest diplomacy commotie that last week ontstond tussen hem en Belgian politics. White nuances are expressed about anti-Semitism in the fraudulent pursuit of three moheels, in bankruptcy for a betting squad around Joodse besnijdenissen.

De Wever zou White hebben aangeraden om niet meer in het openbaar over de kwestie te spreken – nadat ook Prévot White verweet van ‘Twitter diplomacy‘ – omdat he has a bet against loss for success. “The Joden in the country hebben me verteld dat as koosjer slachten al niet meer mag. As besnijdenissen ook niet meer like, dan moeten ze Belgium. Ik weet dat Bart De Wever dat niet wil, en de arizonaregering evenmin.”
What is a moheel?
A moheel is nobody the rituele besnijdenissen uitvoert bij jongetjes in het Joodse geloof, meestal op de eighth dag na de geboorte. In Belgium it has been used for a non-medical noodzakelijke circumcisies, so many people have been given the opportunity to enter the arts. This is a risky route for health. In this case, the moheels were in arts and was also geen arts in the circumferences.
Tegelijk ontkende hij dat hij België expliciet antisemitisch had genoemd. “I’m looking for something (…). What I’ve seen, is a word that can be interpreted internationally as anti-Semitic. It’s hard for me to break.”
Good politics
A good sound is heard from Sven Biscop, professor of international politics (UGent), also on the table. “No one speaks of anti-Semitism, behalve, etc.” Biscop recognizes that an ambassador to the country can defend himself, but this can never be overtaken as pressure on the legal process.
White herhaalde daarnaast zijn opproep voor a betlijk squad rond Joodse besnijdenissen. Hij bankrupt for a system that has been certified by moheels, vergelijkbaar with the regulation for bijvoorbeeld tattoo artists of nail stylists. Volgens hem wordt daar aft de schermen al over spoken.
“I want to get a political resolution for the sake of those who care that God’s service can be served, not in other civilized countries in Europe,” aldus de ambassador. “Belgium is a protected country. I know that the manner in which it is here is with you.”
Van den Eynde betwijfelt real of the politiek draagvlak voor state. Ze thinks that the uitspraken van de ambassador de kans op zo’n regeling net smaller hebben gemaakt.
