Coincidence or not? Just before Christmas, Angela de Jong received a question about none other than Gordon during her flash participation in the anniversary Smartest Person. “We had coffee!”
Angela de Jong was once the winner of De Slimste Mens, but was eliminated after just one episode during her comeback in the anniversary edition on Monday. Quite a disappointment, especially because she was doing well. One of the questions she managed to answer correctly was about her media enemy Gordon. Coincidence or not?
‘Pure coincidence!’
Presenter Philip Freriks puts that question to Angela without batting an eyelid. “There was quite a fuss about the TV program Dit Ben Ik on SBS 6, because the person followed in this reality documentary regularly insulted people. Who is this person?”
Angela laughing: “Am I really asked this question?”
Philip: “It’s pure coincidence!”
Angela: “Gordon.”
Drank coffee
Philip of course knows very well that these are arch enemies of each other. “Yes, that’s a good friend of yours, right?”
Angela then jokes: “Yes. Had coffee with him yesterday.”
Philip hopes for some Gordondirtbecause then he turns to VVD prominent Klaas Dijkhoff: “Klaas, does Gordon still appear at VVD meetings?”
Klaas: “No, no.”
Boycotted?
Philip wonders if Gordon is no longer welcome. “Is he being boycotted?”
Klaas: “No, he just stopped and I don’t know whether he would come again. I haven’t spoken to him in a long time.”
Philip: “Has he stopped or has the VVD stopped with Gordon?”
Klaas: “Well, no, I think he first stopped singing, so he could no longer attend conferences… Well, he could maybe give a speech, but we didn’t try that.”

Hey, isn’t there anyone who wants to say something mean about Gordon? Something that is fun for the clickbait? Angela tries: “And now you don’t want him as a singer?”
Klaas: “Yes, I won’t talk about it, but there is also a little less to celebrate now.”
