Bibi Breijman says in Humberto Tan’s talk show that she no longer has contact with Yvonne Coldeweijer. “Do I still need that? No, neither.”
It’s been almost a year and a half since Waylon was thrown under the bus: Juice Channel exposed him as a cheater, while his lover Bibi Breijman was heavily pregnant on the couch. Yvonne Coldeweijer also knew this, but initially decided not to bring it up because of their friendship and her pregnancy.
Yvonne trauma
Because it was already on the street, Yvonne also decided to get involved and come out with revealing details. The friendship between Bibi and Yvonne – they once even traveled to Indonesia together – was immediately over: the Oh Oh Cherso fame was far too harsh for the juice queen.
Bibi did her first major TV interview about the issue last night, namely at Humberto, where she also got to sing her new song. Host Humberto Tan asks: “If you enter into that battle with each other (…) and if a friend of yours, Yvonne Coldeweijer, then spreads the story, that is an extra trauma, I assume?”
Extra struggles
Bibi agrees. “Yes, that was an extra struggle. That is one of the points where you are often told: rise above it, you should not worry about it. Actually, the fight was to ‘get over it’, which lasted so much longer than me admitting to it: this is just very sad.”
She continues: “This has a lot more to do with a friendship that hurts for a while than with the whole juice thing, because I thought it made total sense what happened. It was also a very juicy story, so it made perfect sense.”
Emotional connection
Humberto, who announced his divorce in January because Yvonne had information about it, asks: “You didn’t mind that it was shared, but did you mind that she shared it?”
Bibi then: “Processing made it more difficult because I felt a very emotional connection with her. I made a journey with her to my roots. They are located in Indonesia, the former Dutch East Indies. (…) In 2017 I returned to the house where my grandfather survived the war… It was a stupid coincidence that I was there with her.”
Well, no coincidence, Bibi clarifies: “I was allowed to bring a colleague with me. And this made me have her in my heart, yes.”

Humberto understands the sensitivity. “You say: the fact that she announced it makes it annoying because you had that connection there with her?”
Bibi: “Well, she didn’t announce it. No. Sorry, what was your question?”
Humberto: “You just said that you also throw all your demons on the table and the fact that she also talked about how she thought it was ridiculous that you stayed with Willem, did you find that annoying because she was your girlfriend?”
Bibi: “Yes, it is difficult to express it to someone, because you are afraid that everything you say will be publicized in a way that entertains, because it also has to earn clicks. That was difficult, yes.”
No more contact
Despite everything, is there still something left of the friendship between Bibi and Yvonne? Humberto asks: “So there is no contact anymore?”
Bibi: “No, no more contact.”
Humberto: “No need anymore?”
Bibi: “No, I just closed it off to myself because of her… I don’t want to attack her either, because she is pregnant. I just congratulated her on her pregnancy and it’s all right.”
