“I didn’t know what kind of hole this was”

A former biathlete Björn Ferry the autobiography was published on Wednesday in Sweden.

Ferry, who won Olympic gold in his career, reveals in his diary-like work how his wife Heidi Andersson advised him in the beginning of the relationship.

According to Aftonbladet Ferry received precise instructions from Andersson.

– I was inexperienced at the time, and he noticed it. I received long handwritten instructional letters, Ferry says in his book.

– It was a little embarrassing. I was over 20 years old and had no idea what kind of hole this was. But he didn’t run away, he decided to stay. I showed my bad side right at the beginning and it worked. A good foundation was created then, so I thank him for the lessons, Ferry said in an interview with Aftonbladet.

The couple has two children, but no new ones are in sight.

Ferry said that he had “cut his cable”, in other words, that he had undergone a vasectomy. For several reasons, she felt that two children were enough.

– It is morally justified to replace oneself with the planet. I replace myself, Heidi replaces herself. It was also easier than condoms and birth control pills.

In children, With Dante and Simon’s, there is an age difference of 10 years. Dante didn’t like his little brother at first, so Ferry decided to try a special trick.

Ferry decided to pay his son 10,000 Swedish kroner (about 860 euros) if Dante changes his little brother’s diaper 100 times. It worked. Dante was able to buy the bike he wanted and liked his brother.

Ferry won Olympic gold in his biathlon career in 2010 at the Vancouver Games. In the trophy cabinet, there is also the mixed relay World Cup gold from 2007. The last prize medal came in 2012, when he was second in the joint start race at the World Cup in Ruhpolding.

Ferry ended his career in the spring of 2014.
