Mercedes admits that he has previously condemned people for suspicion or prosecution. His world of thought changed with the charges of his husband.
“This is embarrassing that I have thought that way,” he says.
Raninen married in 2022. Their children were born in October 2024. During their relationship, Raninen sat in prison for five years. Raninen has been sentenced to two murders. The man was released from prison in March 2021.

A woman born in 1978 said Raninen had beaten her. The abduction was said to have occurred at Hakaniemi Market on June 20, 2022. The woman said she had burned tobacco while Raninen came against her and hit her face with a fist.
