There are no surveillance camera recordings for events. There were also no outside witnesses.
The district court considered the victim’s report as consistent and considered that it was possible that Raninen had gone to the place of work during the working day. However, nothing else supported the woman’s story.
It was particularly unbelievable that Raninen would have agreed to kill a woman against a fee of $ 4,000 only to some extent. Also, Raninen could not have known that the victim was moving at the scene at that time.
Raninen is a convicted mercenary. He is one of the 2003 in Vuosaari Volkan Ünsal of those convicted of mercenary murder. In 1998 he shot on a racetrack on a mafia boss Dragan Joksovicin.
