The husband of LINDA. editor-in-chief Rianne Meijer causes a lot of fuss with statements about the new breast edition of the magazine. “She sends the photos via WhatsApp on to her husband?!”
The LINDA., Linda de Mol’s magazine that is struggling with declining circulation figures, is currently in the news because of the new edition about breasts. The man in question, Thijs Wolters, has Twitter ecstatic about this song. “As a fan of tits, I think this is the best song Rie ever made,” he wrote the day before yesterday. And: “Take it from me: this is a storage number.”

Thijs thereafter: “At times when I already receive some thumbnails of well-successful tits photos via WhatsApp, I am so happy.”
Criticism
The statements are astonishing. “When you come back from an honest photo shoot, it turns out that the photos are shared via WhatsApp,” says Merel, for example. Jense: “This is wrong on so many fronts, dear God.” And Inge: “Not so smart eh. A bit dirty too.”
Opinion maker Nienke ‘s Gravemade (photo), who recently sat at the table at Op1, thinks it’s unbelievable. She shares Thijs’ statements with her nearly nine thousand followers. “According to the man of LINDA’s editor-in-chief.”, she writes. “NOT ALRIGHT.”
One Sanne then: “I think forwarding nude photos without consent is something that (nota bene) women know is not okay, right? But is it okay if you send it to your man for fun? Do you think anyone is professional as a participant in such a song… ???.”
Husband responds
The much criticized Thijs has now taken note of the fuss. He does not give a substantive response, but does show that he still stands behind his tweets. “Of course I like titty pictures. I am not a monk”, he says.
Thijs states that no one has asked him about this. “No, this is Twitter. That’s how we all roll here.”
Nienke then says again: “No, it’s not all that complicated. Or it didn’t happen, then you embarrassed your wife. If it did, then you discredited your wife. Nice to roll on, I’d say.”
Editor-in-chief Rianne has not yet responded to the fuss.
