Chris Robinson celebrated another success in his career in Ostrava in Czech. The race was different than hoped for.
In the athletics meeting in Ostrava, Chris Robinson not only attracted sporting attention. The American won the 400-meter hurdle run-despite an unusual incident.
Shortly after the start, the 24-year-old had to cut his running shorts several times after he accidentally exposed himself. He hit the last hurdle violently, but at the finish he cheered with a somersault.
Robinson finished after 48.05 seconds – the best of the season and only a tenth of a second slower than his personal best.
At the gold event of the World Athletics Continental Tour, he was six hundredths of a second in front of the Brazilian Matheus Lima. The Czech Vit Muller finished third with 48.41 seconds.
