The Alfa Romeo was launched 115 years ago. The Italian brand was an instant hit and still appeals to many. Ford Mustang is also a legendary brand that is celebrating sixty candles this year.

“Mustang was actually made for the baby boomers of the 1960s who no longer wanted to drive their parents’ older cars. Ford responded with a sportier model and that model is still popular today,” says Miguel Vanluchene of Classic Car Garage.

Fairs such as Autoclassics are heyday for classic car enthusiasts. Collector Thijs Verhage already has four iconic cars. Still, he hopes to add one more. Although of course you need quite a bit of money for that: “My piggy bank is way too small, but that’s part of the fun. You have to want something and be willing to work for it. Something must also remain unattainable.”
