Hundreds of Dutch people become stem cell donors after an appeal in the Flemish version of Glazen Huis

Hundreds of people in the Netherlands have registered as stem cell donors in recent days after an appeal in the Flemish version of the Glass House. An 11-year-old girl told De Warmste Week that she suffers from the life-threatening blood disease beta-thalassemia and needs a stem cell donor to be cured. In Flanders, more than 1,300 people have already registered as stem cell donors.
