Humpback whale Timmy escapes again from shallow water near the German coast

A humpback whale that has repeatedly stranded off the German coast in the Baltic Sea in recent weeks has managed to swim free again. The animal that was found on a sandbank off the coast of Timmendorf last Monday had been stuck in a shallow spot near Wismar for the past few days. Rescuers hope that the whale will now find its way to the Atlantic Ocean.
