Hamburger SV is one of the largest clubs in Germany. The news ticker on t-online contains all the important reports about the “Rothosen”.

The dates for the HSV games of the season have been set. For the club this means: three matches on Saturdays and one game on Sunday – this makes planning much easier for fans.

The main focus is on the home game against Hoffenheim, which is scheduled to be the top game on Saturday evening, April 25th, at 6:30 p.m. A week later he comes HSV away at Eintracht Frankfurt, the game will be played at the classic Bundesliga time at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 2nd.

The last home game of the season against Freiburg will take place on Sunday, May 10th, also at 3:30 p.m. On the final match day, as usual, all games will kick off at the same time – HSV will also be challenged once again away to Leverkusen, kick-off is also at 3.30 p.m.

HSV has secured the services of the highly regarded offensive talent Vasiljevic from Hungary and has beaten out well-known competition. What is particularly noteworthy is that sporting director Claus Costa was able to outmaneuver Benfica Lisbon, among others, in transfer poker through clever timing and targeted negotiations. “The 16-year-old center forward is considered a top European talent,” the club commented on its own transfer coup. In addition to Benfica, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Inter Milan are also said to have been interested in the “prodigy”, as “Spox” calls the talent.

With the transfer, the club is underlining its strategic focus to focus more on young, promising players. According to media reports, the transfer fee is said to have been around 1.5 million euros. Vasiljevic is considered a promising talent who should be carefully introduced to the professional field.

At the start of training on Tuesday, HSV coach Merlin Polzin has to do without an important player: Ransford Königsdörffer. The 24-year-old was called up for Ghana’s national team at short notice and is already on his way to the team. The appointment comes as a surprise to him, as he himself had recently assessed his World Cup chances as slim. Now he has the chance to get back into the limelight in the friendly against Austria and especially in the duel with Germany in Stuttgart.

For Königsdörffer, it’s not just about playing minutes, but also about his future – both in the national team and at HSV. After a long break, he could play for Ghana again for the first time and be recommended for the World Cup. At the same time, his contract situation in Hamburg is still in limbo, while his sporting performance has been fluctuating recently. The coming games could be groundbreaking for him in several respects.
