HSV mascot Dino Hermann attracted attention with various wild actions against Bayer Leverkusen. The goal: to create a mood and confuse the opponent. Is that still okay or just disrespectful?
The HSV women had every reason to celebrate on Sunday evening: after a dramatic victory on penalties (4:2) over Bayer Leverkusen, the team is in the DFB Cup quarter-finals. There was particularly great support from the mascot Dino Hermann.
The blue prehistoric monster heated up the mood with unusual dance moves: the dinosaur pulled up his white jersey several times and exposed his stomach or wiggled his big butt intensively. The “sexy” show only had one purpose: to distract Leverkusen’s penalty takers.
What do you think about the HSV mascot’s dance performance? Is Dino Hermann allowed to support his team with unusual measures – or is that simply unsportsmanlike? Write us your opinion at [email protected].
