The live shopping specialist HSE wants to drive the growth of its live platform with a personnel decision. On Thursday, the company announced the appointment of Shona Fraser as Senior Director Live Media & Broadcast.
In her new role, Fraser will report directly to HSE CEO Sandra Rehm and will be responsible for “steering and further developing HSE’s live media and broadcast organization across TV and digital channels,” according to a statement. The aim of the position is to “further develop live media and broadcast as the central value creation lever of the HSE business model and to sustainably strengthen the quality, efficiency and scalability of live production”.
Fraser has many years of experience in the media industry
According to her new employer, Fraser has “more than two decades of leadership experience in the international media and TV industry.” Most recently, she held senior management positions at Brainpool and Banijay Germany. In addition, Fraser previously “shaped the program and production profile of RTL Zwei for many years.” There, among other things, she held the position of deputy program director.
HSE Managing Director Sandra Rehm explained the personnel decision. “With Shona Fraser, we are gaining a very high-profile leader who combines creative strength, operational implementation strength and transformation experience at the highest level,” she explained in a statement. “She brings exactly the perspective we need to further expand our live commerce expertise on TV and across our digital channels.”
