A carting Korhoen has been a true Dutch nature spectacle for decades, only to be seen and heard in the spring, at sunrise, on the heath of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. But how long can this spectacle still be seen? Of the ten thousand Korhoenders who once had the Netherlands, there are only a few copies left. Can this bird still save for the Netherlands?
