FIFA shared with the public the prize money to be distributed in the tournament before the 2026 World Cup. A total of 727 million dollars will be distributed in the organization, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. This figure represents an increase of approximately 50 percent compared to Qatar 2022.
According to FIFA’s statement, the champion of the tournament will earn 50 million dollars. The team that loses the final will be awarded 33 million dollars, the third team will be awarded 29 million dollars, and the fourth team will be awarded 27 million dollars.
