From a solution for the countryside to new problems: demolition rules in Raalte are being overhauled
Hundreds, if not thousands of square meters of ugly, empty stables have now been demolished in the municipality of Raalte. The landscape-disfiguring buildings in the outlying area are disappearing more and more, which are often replaced by new homes. Good thing, you would think. Still, there is grumbling in the Raalte city council and the rules are being tinkered with.
