The Netherlands has a remarkably long dry and sunny period. That is not only hard for nature: according to garden expert Annetje Ottow, it is calculated that Dutch households would have to use about twenty percent less water to prevent us from getting a drinking water shortage in the Netherlands. But how do we deal with our dry gardens, without wasting precious drinking water?
