How did this proposal for the Integration of fear, anxiety and panic in personal, family and business life come about?

I have been working as a Physician for forty-seven years and more than forty in the field of Psychotherapy and Psychiatry. The IMAP Method -Integration of Fear, Anxiety and Panic- is a synthesis of my experience as a Psychotherapist and the knowledge that I have been incorporating during the last twenty years. Especially from the work with Family Constellations in the field of companies, people and families, and my meditative practice.

What happens that it is increasingly common to hear about fear, anxiety and panic attacks?

I think that the complexity of our daily life today makes them more evident. All of us at some point have gone through some of these emotions, and many times they do not constitute a problem for our development. Other times, on the other hand, they remain and become limiting in our work, family or relational life.

From medicine, these cases are accompanied by different drugs, which help the person to cope with emotions and silence the symptoms. With IMAP we can reveal the origin of the symptoms and transform our relationship with the stimuli that trigger them, fear fades and confidence in life increases.

The proposal is to delve into oneself from an active and conscious place through tools such as Family Constellations, visualizations, exercises and meditation. This develops new capacities and affirms our presence in everyday life.

Sometimes we discover that the origin of a current limiting emotion goes back to some event in our life that we have not been able to digest. Faced with a situation of great danger, for example, the appearance of fear makes sense and is at the service of survival. When we do not integrate that event, it is “crystallized” in our body, so in the future we will live the current experience with the same fear of the past. Other times we discover that these “disproportionate” emotions have to do with an unconsciously acquired family memory that knocks on the door through fear, anxiety or panic in everyday work, partner or family situations.

In the weekly meetings of an hour and a half we can understand the origin of our limiting emotions and from there go deeper, until we find lasting solutions that bring us maturity and peace.

It is about being more present, aware and active in our own development.

The introductory groups have a duration of 4 meetings, the intermediate ones of 8 and the deepening ones of up to 9 months.
